Greater Chippewa Valley Area Habitat for Humanity, Inc. (Chippewa Valley Habitat) is committed to respecting the privacy of every individual who visits cvh4h.org or who may otherwise provide personal information to us, including our donors. This Privacy Policy explains how we gather, use and protect the information we receive through the Site, through offline donations or other means.

TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Through the Sites, Chippewa Valley Habitat collects two types of information from individuals:

Chippewa Valley Habitat may collect certain personal information from you via the Site, but only when such information is provided by you during your communication or transaction with us on the Site (e.g., make an online donation). Chippewa Valley Habitat takes your privacy concerns very seriously. To that end, only a few select staff members have access to the limited information we store on our website. We or our service providers may use the information we collect from and about you to perform the following business functions:

A. to process, acknowledge and provide a tax receipt for donations
B. to respond to donor inquiries or questions about our services
C. to communicate with you in the future
D. for marketing purposes
E. to include in Chippewa Valley Habitat’s donor database
F. to develop new features and offerings on the Site
G. to process and perform any request you make on our Site
H. to analyze user behavior and characteristics

SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

Chippewa Valley Habitat does not sell or rent your personal information to any third party without your permission. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and ensure the correct use of information, we strive to maintain physical, electronic and administrative safeguards. All credit card information you provide to our Site is processed and maintained by Network for Good.

Chippewa Valley Habitat will periodically review and may choose to amend this Privacy Policy. If we decide to change any aspect of the Privacy Policy we will post the changes to our Site so you are aware of what information we collect and how we use that information. If we make a material adverse retroactive change to our Privacy Policy, we will seek your consent to the extent required by applicable law.
